It’s OK to feel good!

[two_third]

Some people seem to never feel good and a dark cloud follows them around and you can feel cursos de design grafico the energy and mood change as soon as they enter the room. Do you have to have something pleasant happen to you in order to feel good? Can a simple thought make you feel good? Do we allow events and outward circumstances affect our mood and how we feel?

Everyone likes to feel good

Everyone likes to feel good – all of the time if possible. But what if it was possible to feel good all of the time? This is such a deep, multi-faceted subject that I almost decided not to write about it. It almost seems too spiritualistic, too far out there to grasp for some. Not because they can’t, but because they choose not to. That’s ok though. I don’t claim to have all of the answers or be anywhere near having the mindset to talk myself into feeling good ALL of the time – but I aspire to.

It sticks for life…

Do you ever wonder why there are those little times in our lives when someone says something and it sticks for life? Sometimes the dialogue can be quite ordinary and nothing particularly profound, but the message sticks. I think they are messages that we’re supposed to recall for life but the meaning we give to them is still up to us. Many years ago when I was a young boy my dad was talking to me about anger. It seems like it was a normal easy going conversation. In other words, I don’t think it came after one of my anger outbursts or anything. I was open to his insights. He explained to me that at times he simply decides that he’s not going to let something upset him. He asked me “It doesn’t feel good does it?” I had to say no, it does not. I’m not claiming that I always “decide” not to feel angry. I think it’s important to vent and get things off our chest – it’s part of growing. I’ve never forgotten that lesson though and I try to live by it as much as my stubborn head will allow. It works, but it takes a little practice.

Ask and you shall receive?

Can it really be that simple? I gotta be honest, I still struggle with the concept but it has been scientifically proven that thoughts are energy and they can actually affect what happens to us. John Kehoe says “Your thoughts are the primary creative forces in your life. Use them consciously and use them often and you will awaken to a whole new life of power and opportunity” I can hear the Twilight Zone music now!
